In this episode I speak with Lisa Reinhardt, founder of Wei of Chocolate. We talk about the upcoming hurricane that’s moving her way in Florida, and the last time she survived a hurricane, being without power for nine days with her 90-year-old parents. Most importantly, we talk about how to use uncertainty as a practice for freedom.
Lisa Reinhardt is one of my best friends - and like a sister to me. After traveling in the Himalayas for 11 years, living in monasteries and doing retreat in a cave, Lisa Reinhardt thought she came back to the US to share what she'd learned about meditation. After an a-ha moment eating chocolate, however, things took a delicious turn.
Now, as founder of Wei of Chocolate, Lisa delights in giving people permission to eat chocolate every day without guilt. Having compiled reams of research and distilled what exactly differentiates healthy chocolate from candy, she believes that a daily piece or two of chocolate can be a path to peace & wellness, as well as a way to bring the benefits of meditation effortlessly into our modern, busy lifestyle.
She is currently living in Florida + caring for her parents who are both in their 90's.
