This week, I recorded a podcast episode recapping what you may experience in working with the Sacred Datura and what it can catalyze within you.
I share personal experiences and stories, and talk about how you can use the elixir for purification and finding light at the end of the tunnel during this collective dark night of the soul.
It helps us confront our paranoia to dissolve our naivete -- to avoid getting ourselves or our loved ones in the way of danger. Yet, we also don’t want to operate out of fear. Sacred Datura helps us to tap into our own intuition, to really listen and discern. Through purifying and cleansing our fears and paranoias, we are able to experience a sense of clarity and calm.
When we’re being bombarded with so much new information, it can be disturbing and overwhelming to our system. We may be feeling stunned and shocked; experiencing discomfort and numbness. Working with Sacred Datura can help us uncover the truth, process it and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Sacred Datura helps us realize that there’s no need “to do” anything. Instead, by fully experiencing and acknowledging what is arising, we create the space to allow it to heal, sort itself out, or help us gain perspective over time.

Thank you for sending this podcast…loved it!! this is the first time I received your podcast…amazing! right. So let me share with you, I had a desert sage growing in my front yard and years ago I pulled it out of the ground and the following year and ever since I have had the sacred datura growing very near to where the sage had been. Anyway, every years they come up and surprise me and their beautiful flowers open every night. ISomeone told me that desert sage is the male and sacred datura is the female counterpart of the sage, but I have not found that to confirm that to be sure since they are in different flower families. Perhaps that is folklore. Over the years , and they have been growing now for years, I have used the seeds of the pointy pods as a feng shui healing to sprinkle at the edges of the four outside corners of a home. My flowers are not big but they are beautiful even though they last only a couple of evenings. If you want to pick some pods you are welcome to do so as I have plenty pointy round seed pods on the plants right in my front yard. I live in north central Phoenix (20th Street & Greenway Parkway). I knew they were very special and I feel extremely blessed and lucky to have them growing right outside my front door !! You being the flower alchemist goddess that you are perhaps they will grow for you. You are welcome to them. Blessings, Debra Eve Piatetsky
